RON DEFEO

Ron is a founding member of Nonantum. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, including over 20 years as CEO of public companies.
Ron served as CEO of Terex Corporation (NYSE: TEX) from 1995 until his retirement from the company in late 2015, and also served as Chairman of the Board from 1998 until 2015. He was CEO and President of Kennametal (NYSE: KMT) from early 2016 until August 2017, and served as a board member from 2001 to 2018, including as Executive Chairman after his CEO tenure. In 2018, Ron joined the board of Myers Industries (NYSE: MYE).
Prior to joining Terex, Ron was a Senior Vice President of J.I. Case Company and also served as Managing Director of Case Construction Equipment throughout Europe. He began his career in 1974 at Procter & Gamble in marketing and brand management where he spent ten years advancing through the corporation.
Ron holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and philosophy from Iona College and in 2013 was awarded an honorary doctorate degree from the institution.
